Judged Competition –
Entries are brought from all over the country and are on display throughout the weekend. Entries include all skill levels from children to masters and all types of decorating techniques and themes. Check-out the rules and registration information to enter the competition!
On-Site Competitions –
Watch as some of the best in the industry compete in 3 separate fun, exciting and fast-paced live competitions.
Mini-Classes and Demonstrations –
Conducted by world renowned sugar artists, mini-classes and informal demonstrations are scheduled throughout the weekend.
Watch as a special panel of the competition judges demonstrates techniques while completing a cake. Mike McCarey of Mike’s Amazing Cakes will be the emcee for this event!
Vendors –
Don’t miss your opportunity to purchase those hard-to-find tools and supplies.
Kids Events –
Kids can decorate cookies or cupcakes and more!
Before and after the Show, we have scheduled special hands-on Celebrity Classes to be conducted by the visiting Celebrity Decorators – Mike McCarey, Nicholas Lodge, Geraldine Randlesome, Kathy Scott and John Kraus.
General admission includes entry to view the competition entries, the vendor area, informal demonstrations, onsite competitions and the awards ceremony. General admission is $8 per day. Bring a non-perishable food donation to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank and get $1 off. Children 18 and under are FREE! Weekend passes are available for $14. All other events require separate registration.
We’ve chosen to partner with the Wingate by Wyndham hotel this year. The rate is $89 per night and must be booked by calling them directly at 512-341-7000. If you try to book by any other method you may be told that the hotel is full. That is because the rooms are reserved for us!
