Peggy Tucker began creating cakes in the Rochester, Minnesota area in 1995. She worked to perfect her techniques through the years under the study of several well-known sugar artists including Colette Peters, Nicholas Lodge, and Kathy Scott.
In 2003 Peggy decided to focus on teaching, which she says is one the aspect of cake decorating she truly loves above all others. She opened the School of Cakeology in 2009, where she takes great joy in watching her students advance to achieve medals of their own. This new endeavor has also allowed her to travel as both a teacher and cake show competitor. She has received numerous awards for her amazing competitive entries, several of which can be seen on the school’s website at http://www.schoolofcakeology.com/.
An ICES member since 1999, Peggy is also a member of the Upper Midwest Bakery Association (UMBA), the Minnesota Chapter of ICES and the California Cake Club.
