The 2020 Cookie Track


The Cookie Track includes four 45 minute demonstrations and two hands-on demonstrations with six incredible sugar artists! Between the morning and afternoon sessions you’ll have one hour to break for lunch and shopping. (Lunch will not be provided)

Learn how to work with this tasty medium to create fun textures and designs.

Luxe Layers with Julia M. Usher
Who said 2-D cookies need to look flat?! Join Julia as she demonstrates an elegant, layered mixed media cookie design, rich in depth and dimension! In this demo, you’ll get exposed to a wide range of techniques, including airbrushing, stenciling, rubber-stamping, dusting, royal icing roses, fondant appliqués, and wafer paper or modeling chocolate accents. (Note: The actual design may differ from these pictures.)

Kathleen Lange – Cushion Work on Cookies (Hands-On Royal)
Get your Royal on with the hands-on demo design to teach you the intricate cushion technique.

Peggy Tucker – Dragon Eyes (Hands-On Fondant/Isomalt)
In this hand-on demo you’ll learn about using texture mats, fondant, isomalt, airbrush colors, edible images and dusting colors to create your own dragon cookies

Laura Saporiti – Love Stitch
Join Laura to learn a very effective but super easy fast technique to create realistic, texturized, super fine and delicate stitches onto a fabric weft that is the cookie itself. No need for extra sugar here, just a fine thin layer that will allow you to better taste its full flavor and aroma. And the best thing is that we won’t even need to use any piping tip!
